Lai San Leung, L.Ac., DACM is licensed to practice acupuncture in the states of New York and California and is certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. She is also a Nationally Board Certified Herbalist and is board certified in Oriental Medicine (Diplomate Oriental Medicine - Dipl. OM) by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Lai San Leung is a certified Zheng Gu Tui Na Practitioner. She is also trained in Constitutional Facial Acupuncture RenewalTM and is a member of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA).

Lai San Leung maintains a special focus on digestion issues, pain management, and musculoskeletal problems, as well as women’s and men’s reproductive health. She participated in ongoing acupuncture clinical trials funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, and also interned at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. 

Her philosophy towards health and the connection between mind and body is firmly rooted in the Five Pillars of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She believes that a healer's role is not just to remedy the present discomfort of a patient, but to set him or her on a path towards a sustainable and healthy lifestyle.
