Meditation and Exercise
Traditional Chinese Medicine links the physical, the mental, and the spiritual. Meditation, Qi Gong, and Tai Chi are key in incorporating the mental and spiritual aspects of health and healing.
Qi Gong
Qi Gong ("Chi Gohng") is a set of techniques involving physical postures, breathing exercises, and focused intention, once believed to be the key to immortality. Through Qi Gong, we can regulate and balance the body's vital energy, connect the mind and body, and restore youthful vigor. Our practioner will recommend Qi Gong practices based on your personal needs to supplement your treatment.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is an ancient Taoist practice which is often called "meditation in motion" and involves movements for relaxation, health, and self-defense. Tai Chi has many different forms which each have their own set of routines, such as Yang style Tai Chi which is widely practiced in China. Regular practice of Tai Chi effectively improves muscle strength, flexibility, and balance.
